    Bible thumping.

    So I here I sit, watching "Degrassi: The Next Generation," and it's an episode about Christianity and "The Friendship Club." Frankly, I almost cried.

    A couple of the students were having a "safe sex" seminar at the school, giving away condoms and answering questions about safe sex.

    "The Friendship Club" protested this seminar, with signs saying "Abstinence" and "No sex = safe sex."
    There is nothing wrong with this - seeing as there is such thing as freedom of speech. But I just don't understand. They were telling everyone that "Condoms make kids have sex." This is BULL. Kids make kids have sex. You only make yourself have sex. If kids don't know about safe sex, then they'll never have safe sex. Knowing about safe sex won't MAKE you have sex.

    The ignorance of some people drive me CRAZY. Kids are going to have sex, if they want to, whether they have condoms or not. Whether there is knowledge of safe sex or not.

    This episode just blew me through the roof!

    Of course, I am a strong believer in having your own beliefs, opinions, and practices. But don't let your opinions stop other people from forming their own.

  • How do you express affection toward others?

    I know there are some people that believe affection will never be mistaken for something different. THIS, my friends, is not true.

    Depending on the person, affection can present itself in any way, shape, or form. Personally, I express my affection in gifts. I know that may seem materialistic, and there are some that believe presents aren't everything. They'd rather hear words, or feel one's touch. I am incapable of this. My mind escapes me when I feel so passionate about someone or something.

    I can say, that no matter who you're feeling affectionate or passionate about, make sure they know it, no matter what your methods.
